Honolulu probably is one of the most far away holiday destination from Europe, and correct me if I'm wrong, there's no direct flight from Europe, it's just tooooooo far away. Well, I bravely took on the challenge and went there in February, peak season...ouch. Spent 3 nights at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani hotel, I've done my research beforehand, apparently it's tired and old, and I've set my expectations low. I can safely report it's an OK hotel.
I quite like the lobby, decorated with the Princess' photos, some might find it a bit spooky.
You can double up the breakfast voucher to exchange for a dinner buffet voucher. I did that, and it was ok, love the snow crab legs! Yum yum.
No suite was offered, but I still enjoyed the view from our balcony.
