This hotel has been on my radar for a while, as this is such a unique property. Last year SPG has a "Paradise is Closer" promotion, and the hotel is on the list with 35% discount on points redemption. It's still a whopping 39,000! I managed to book a night for the Christmas eve.
I found the hotel lobby is a bit dated and underwhelming, considering the price/points you are paying, they really could do something better than this.
