I was lucky enough to book this trip before the AA devaluation, only 30,000 miles from Europe to Maldives in Business Class, amazing value.....I picked the Etihad route, and probably due to my Etihad Guest Gold status, I was even bumped to First Class on Abu Dhabi-Male section due to Business class oversold.
I picked the Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort, mainly because it's close to the Male airport, thus the cheapish boat transfer $136 per person. Last time I stayed at Conrad Maldives Rangali Resort, the seaplane fee was a shocking $540 per person!
